AU09 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Electrical Engineering) Macquarie University

  • THÔNG TIN CHUNG

Energy technology and systems are currently undergoing a rapid transition. The demand for renewable energy generation and storage, and for the use of sophisticated information technology for monitoring and management, has never been greater. This rapidly evolving environment presents unique opportunities for highly skilled electrical engineers, as it is they who will facilitate the transition of society to more sustainable energy systems.

This degree will provide you with the unique combination of skills you’ll need to design and operate future electrical energy systems within the context of existing electric power systems. You’ll develop broad and coherent knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals that form the foundation of electricity systems. You’ll acquire advanced knowledge of electrical energy engineering fundamentals, and relevant natural and physical sciences in the design, analysis and operation of electrical power and energy systems. And you’ll learn to apply advanced theoretical and technical knowledge of electrical engineering to identify, formulate and solve complex multidisciplinary problems that may include aspects of electrical, mechanical, telecommunications and software engineering.
