AU09 Bachelor of Information Technology (Game Development) Macquarie University

  • THÔNG TIN CHUNG

Video games are a thriving industry across the globe. Game designers are part artist, creative writer, graphic designer and programmer. Drawing on both technical and creative skills, they bring gaming characters, stories and virtual environments to life.

This major focuses on game design and development, particularly user experience (UX) design and evaluation processes, and software development skills for games, virtual reality and graphics programming. You’ll learn how to identify, articulate and adapt the key methodologies, theories and practices of game design, analysis and production; and critically analyse and evaluate games in the context of historical, cultural and technological processes and precedents. You’ll also gain the ability to apply software engineering skills and work in teams to implement videogame software and assets.
