This specialisation features a modern, balanced curriculum designed to provide a sound foundation for a career or further study in any sector requiring mathematics. You’ll study a balance of pure and applied mathematics taught by internationally recognised research mathematicians. You’ll gain an understanding of the multidisciplinary role of mathematics and the way it contributes to development in other fields of study. You’ll learn how to formulate and model practical and abstract problems in mathematical terms, and you’ll apply your creativity through mathematical principles, concepts, techniques and technology to solve such problems across a range of areas.
