The Diploma of Information Technology provides an introduction to key theoretical and practical knowledge in information technology including programming, computer science, business systems, database design and digital media.

Students who succeed in the program can choose from a number of undergraduate degrees offered by the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and progress directly into the second year of the degree.

SUITABLE FOR

The course is for students who have completed Year 12 and are close to meeting the academic and English language requirements for direct entry into a Macquarie undergraduate degree.

If you complete this Diploma and meet all entry requirements, you can articulate into the second year of selected undergraduate courses.

• have a qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12 with an ATAR of 60
