In this double degree, you will be able to combine:

• Master of Cyber Security Analysis: This highly practical degree is tailored to directly address the cybersecurity skills gap in Australia and overseas by training the next generation of policy and strategic thinkers in cybersecurity.
• Master of Public and Social Policy: If you're proficient in more than one language, this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you'll require to perform translation and interpreting in a range of institutional settings common to community and commercial translation and interpreting practice in Australia and overseas.

• Double degrees fast-track your study – you usually complete double degrees one or even two years faster than you would undertaking both degrees on their own. This not only saves you time but money as well.
• This degree will teach you to critically analyse real-world cybersecurity issues and use advanced disciplinary techniques and methods to develop solutions to them.
• You’ll develop the skills and confidence to utilise and interpret complex research and administrative data to independently develop and evaluate public and social policy.You’ll learn skills in both quantitative and qualitative social research, including how to engage with statistical data in an applied manner, conduct surveys and analyse survey data, run focus groups, undertake interviews and apply qualitative data in a range of policy tools.
• Internship opportunities with government and industry partners are available – on a competitive basis – during your studies. Graduate career opportunities are widely available due to the global shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals.

• AQF level 8 bachelor honours or graduate diploma qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent, or
• Meet two of the following three criteria:
  • AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent
  • Minimum two years relevant approved work experience at senior management level, professional certification or other recognised prior learning
  • AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65
