In this double degree, you will be able to combine:

• Master of International Relations: Through engagement with innovative approaches and thinking, this course will empower you to comprehend and evaluate contemporary regional and global developments, and will equip you for an international career in diplomacy, journalism,the NGO sector, international business or academia.
• Master of Translation and Interpreting Studies: If you're proficient in more than one language, this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you'll require to perform translation and interpreting in a range of institutional settings common to community and commercial translation and interpreting practice in Australia and overseas.

• You'll learn from experts in the fields of Asian, European, American, African, Australian and Middle Eastern studies. 
• You'll develop key skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, research and writing, and oral communication. 
• You'll acquire theoretical knowledge alongside the practical skills relevant to translating and interpreting practice. 
• You'll undertake extensive targeted practice in both translation and interpreting, as well as specialisations in both fields. 
• You may be eligible to undertake an internship in an approved institution. You'll undertake a research component under specialised individual supervision.

• + AQF level 8 bachelor honour's or graduate diploma qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent, or

  + Meet two of the following

• AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent. Relevant approved work experience, professional certification or other recognised prior learning
• Or AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65 and proficiency in one of the available languages, and
• For students whose first language is English, completion of an admission assessment
