AU19 Graduate Certificate of Project Management Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne campus)
The Graduate Certificate of Project Management is designed to provide students with expertise in project management across a range of industries. Students develop the knowledge, skills and conceptual understanding needed to apply project management principles to all aspects of project work. Units cover project management in a range of practical contexts across the areas of entrepreneurship, management and leadership. Students also develop problem-solving skills and learn how to establish and communicate innovative solutions to a range of audiences. They become equipped to create and communicate professional project management plans that address complex business problems and support organisational change.
Standard entry
Successful completion of an undergraduate degree equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree.
Non-standard entry
A special entry provision is available for applicants without a formal qualifications but who have significant relevant project management work experience* (usually at least five years) and evidence of academic capability (e.g. successful completion of a non-cognate degree, a certificate or diploma course at a TAFE with high grades).
The university may determine selection criteria and restrictions in respect of courses to apply in addition to these entry requirements.
* Work experience
Documents substantiating work experience need to be provided on company letterhead and clearly detail roles as well as duties and duration of posts held.
