The Master of Financial Technologies (Advanced) equips students to apply emerging technologies within the financial sector. An advanced research component also provides a pathway to a PhD.

You will learn to apply technology concepts, critical thinking and problem-solving methodologies in financial contexts. You’ll also learn to communicate effectively within professional teams, and build your leadership and management skills. An independent research project allows you to make an original contribution to the field.

After graduation, you could work as a technology consultant, or take on project management or strategy roles in financial services firms (particularly those implementing emerging technologies or new business models). Experienced professionals could progress into finance, marketing, administration or operations management roles. Those interested in further study can pursue a research pathway.

On completion of the course, students’ career opportunities in business and management will be enhanced. Students will graduate with the skills to lead their organisation towards success, or further their studies in the field.
