This major covers a range of areas essential to the growing IT industry. You’ll explore new technology and show your creative flair and eye for technical detail.

You’ll focus on how information technology is used to collect, process and output information in organisations, and gain in-depth knowledge of application design, systems implementation and management. 

The Business Information Technology (Professional) major is comprised of 12 core units to extend your knowledge and meet accreditation requirements of the Australian Computer Society.

The Business Information Technology (Professional) major can be studied alongside a specialisation/minor, four elective units or as a double major with Business Information Systems (Professional) with accreditation by the Australian Computer Society.
