On our MRes Ocean Science degree, you’ll focus on an area that interests you, such as physical, chemical or biological oceanography.  

On this UK research master’s course you’ll decide the subject areas you study and choose the nature of the research you undertake for your dissertation project.  

As an MRes student, you will spend around two thirds of your year on your research project and the rest of your time studying taught modules.  

You’ll conduct research alongside experienced academics in marine science, at our Waterfront Campus and attend our research seminars, delivered by leading scientists.
